For strength coaches

Strength coaching app for coaches who sell strength programs online

In short

FitCoUp is a strength coaching app for coaches who sell strength programs online to many clients at once: a program is a block of weeks with sets, reps, tempo, rest and heart rate zones per exercise, delivered in a branded app with a guided player. Programs sell as one-time blocks or a monthly membership through the coach's own Stripe account with a 0% platform fee.

Strength coaching online started as a spreadsheet: sets, reps, RPE and a column for the client's numbers. That still works for ten clients. At a hundred, the coach is a spreadsheet administrator, and the clients who need the most structure are the ones who open the sheet the least. FitCoUp is a strength coaching app for selling the program once and delivering it to everyone in a player that keeps the structure.

Here is how a strength coach runs 8 and 12 week blocks, a monthly program membership and the funnel from a free week to the paid block.

Programs strength coaches sell and how they are built

An 8 week beginner block sold once, a 12 week intermediate block for people who finished the first, and a monthly membership with a new block every cycle cover most strength businesses. In the program builder a block is weeks and modules; a session is a list of exercises from the library, each with sets, reps, tempo, rest and alternatives; and a template such as a 4 week program with 12 sessions, offers and trials in one click gets the first product live the same day. Version history on lessons means you can fix a load prescription without breaking the path of clients already inside.

  • Beginner block. 8 weeks, three sessions a week, sequential access, one-time price, lifetime access.
  • Intermediate block. sold at the finish of the beginner block through the next level funnel.
  • Membership. a new block every 8 weeks, monthly or annual, trial for new clients only, pause instead of cancel.
  • Minimal equipment versions as alternatives on the same exercise, so one program fits a home gym and a commercial gym.

The player for a strength session

Strength sessions need less countdown and more structure. The player shows the exercise, the demonstration video, sets, reps and tempo, runs the rest timer between sets and previews the next exercise so the client sets up the station. Alternatives cover a missing cable machine or a shoulder that does not tolerate overhead pressing. Circuits and intervals are available for conditioning days, and the follow along mode is for warm ups. The check-in after the session, stored only with consent, records mood and pain, and measurements such as body weight or a lift of your choice feed the goal forecast and the progress charts.

From a free week to a paid block

The quiz funnel asks about training age, equipment, days per week, the main lift goals and injuries, then sends the client to the right block and offer. A free preview week on the beginner block is the usual entry for cold traffic; the retention rules for trials then run on their own: a welcome on day 0, a nudge on day 1 if the first session is not done, a check-in and the first measurement on day 3, the conversion offer on day 5 and a service notice two days before the end.

Keeping clients inside the block

Strength clients quit in two places: when life breaks the streak and when a block ends without a next step. For the first, streaks follow the cadence of the program with two freezes a month, the streak at risk message goes out the day before it breaks and inactivity rules fire at 3, 7 and 14 days with a pause offer. For the second, the next level funnel offers one free session of the next block halfway through and the block itself at the finish with a completion bonus or up to 20% off for 5 days. The dashboard shows completion per lesson, so you see the session where people stall.

The business side: students, team and numbers

The students CRM shows each client's progress, measurements and streak, with manual access and notes for people you coach in person too. Team roles let an assistant coach answer support without seeing full student emails. Client economics shows LTV per block and per cohort, CAC per channel from the ad spend you enter and payback in months, so you know whether the beginner block pays for its ads before the membership starts. Export students, progress and sales at any time.

Questions

Can clients log their weights per set?

The check-in after a session records measurements you define, for example body weight or a lift. Set by set load logging for 1:1 coaching is better served by a dedicated coaching tool; FitCoUp is built for programs sold to many clients.

Does one program fit home and gym clients?

Yes. Add an alternative with minimal equipment on each exercise; the client picks it once and the player remembers.

How do I sell the next block to people who finished?

The next level funnel offers one free session halfway and the next block at the finish with a bonus or a discount, automatically, at most two offer emails a week.

Is there a limit on programs or clients?

Programs are unlimited. Basic covers 300 students, Pro 3,000, Enterprise 15,000 and Agency has no limit.

What does FitCoUp cost for a strength coach?

From 99 EUR per month with a 0% platform fee, a 14 day trial without a card and payouts to your own Stripe account.
