Guide: 7 day launch

Launch your first online fitness program in 7 days

In short

You can launch your first online fitness program in 7 days by doing one thing a day: the promise and the audience, the program as a 4 week path from a template, the offers and prices, the quiz, the branded app and Stripe, the announcement sequence, and the first students with their first session. The program does not need to be finished to launch; it needs the first lesson ready and the path defined.

The first program takes months when the coach tries to finish it before anyone sees it. It takes a week when the coach publishes the first lesson, defines the path and lets the first students in. This guide is the week, one job per day, with the FitCoUp templates that do most of the work and the honest note on what to do by hand.

The long checklist with every item lives in the launch checklist guide; this is the short version for a coach who wants to be live by Sunday.

One job a day

Templates do the structure

A 4 week program with 12 sessions, offers and trials in one click; quiz and retention templates on.

Publish before you finish

Publish when the first lesson is ready; sequential access hides the rest until it exists.

First session on day 7

The launch is complete when the first student finishes the first session.

Day 1: the promise and the audience

Write one sentence: who the program is for, what changes in four weeks and how they will know. A mobility coach might write: for desk workers with tight hips, a 4 week path to a comfortable deep squat, measured by fold distance. Everything else in the week serves that sentence. Pick the first audience from people who already follow you or trained with you; the guide on selling to existing clients first explains why.

Day 2: the program as a 4 week path

Start from the FitCoUp template: a 4 week program with 12 sessions, modules per week, offers and trials created in one click. Replace the session names with yours, record or upload the first lesson, set sequential access so week two opens after week one, and mark one lesson as a free preview. The exercise library gives each move timing, reps and alternatives for restrictions. Publish when the first lesson is ready; the remaining lessons can land while the first students are in week one.

Day 3: offers and prices

Two offers are enough for a first launch: a one-time price for the program with lifetime access, and a membership trial for people who want ongoing support. Set the price ladder on the membership (monthly and annual at least), a launch deadline on the one-time offer, and decide whether the trial is free or paid. The pricing guide covers the decision. Write the result page and the offer description with the five questions you hear most.

Day 4: the quiz

Start from a quiz template, keep five to eight questions (goal, level, equipment, time, restrictions), set the branching rules so each path lands on your program with the right offer, and place the email capture before or after the result with a separate marketing consent. Test it on your own phone. UTM capture is automatic, so tomorrow's announcement links can carry the source.

Day 5: the app and payments

Set the name, logo, colors and app icon; the contrast check runs automatically. Connect Stripe through Stripe Connect so payouts go to your account, add your legal name for receipts and the terms and privacy texts, and consent for pixels if you use them. Install the PWA on your own phone from your link and run one session in the player. The retention engine is already on with 16 rules and 64 templates; read the day 0 and day 1 messages and edit the tone.

Day 6: the announcement

Announce to the people from day 1 first: a message to past clients, a post and stories to followers, an email if you have a list. Each message leads to the quiz, names the deadline and shows a screen of the first session. Keep the DMs short by pointing to the quiz. The launch checklist in FitCoUp ticks the items the platform can verify itself: a published program, an offer, a connected Stripe account, the quiz live.

Day 7: the first students and the first session

The launch is done when the first student completes the first session, not when the post goes out. Watch the dashboard: quiz completions, checkouts, first sessions within 24 hours. Answer support tickets the same day. The thank you page already carried the one-click offer, and the upsell funnel will offer the membership after three sessions in the first week. Next week, finish the remaining lessons and read the growth playbook for the first mechanic to tune.

Questions

Does the whole program need to be filmed before launch?

No. Publish when the first lesson is ready and set sequential access; week two can be recorded while students are in week one.

How many students make a successful first launch?

Enough to learn: the first students show you where the program and the onboarding fail. Any number of paying students who finish the first session is a launch.

What if I have no audience yet?

Start with the people you trained in person and the followers you have, however few. The quiz and the entry product work for a small group; ads come after the first cohort proves retention.

Which FitCoUp templates are involved?

The 4 week program template with 12 sessions, offers and trials, the quiz templates, the retention rules with 64 message templates and the thank you page template with its one-click offer.

What does it cost to launch?

The 14 day trial covers the launch week without a card. Plans start at 99 EUR per month with a 0% platform fee.
