Glossary for fitness creators
The glossary defines the sales and economics terms a creator meets when a platform talks about revenue: one time offer (OTO), upsell funnel, checkout recovery, lifetime value (LTV) and customer acquisition cost (CAC). Each entry explains the term in two sentences, shows how it works for a program or membership sale and names the FitCoUp feature that runs it.
Short entries, each with the definition, a worked example for a fitness school and the mechanic that runs it in FitCoUp.
Questions
Why does a trainer need these terms?
Because revenue after the first sale is where a school grows: the next offer, the saved payment, the value of a student over time and the cost of getting one. The terms are the vocabulary of that work.
Are these mechanics in every plan?
The one-click offer on the thank you page, the first two checkout recovery emails, upsell funnels to a subscription and the next level, and LTV and CAC are in every plan. Enterprise and Agency add the downsell, the full recovery series and the premium and reactivation funnels.
Do these funnels need my own copywriting?
Templates exist for every message and page. You edit the text and the prices; the rules, timers and consent checks run on the platform.
Where do I see what a mechanic earned?
In the "Revenue from mechanics" card of the dashboard, next to LTV per product and cohort, CAC per channel and payback in months.
